A Multi-sensory 3D Mapping Installation
Welcome to eye from nothingness, a multi-sensory reflection on life, love, and death brought to life through a fusion of music, animation, and print.
At the center of this installation is the eye, not only as an organ of sight, but as a portal, a womb, and an iris, all at once.
From nothingness,
we see light,
From unconsciousness,
we come to life.
We bloom,
Hoping to stay
like this, forever.
We hurt, and
the pain is sudden,
Longing to feel good again.
As good as spring
and its luminous sun,
The night and its gentle moon.
What is sleep but
a momentary silence,
An imitation of death's hold on us.
Can you travel back
to your earliest
childhood memory?
Remember it, unearth it, dissect it?
Have you lost someone
close to you recently?
Fallen ill or felt
a sense of helplessness?
We might not know
all the answers,
But let's talk anyway.
Just like always,
the darkness won't linger,
From the nothingness within,
The pain goes away.
We shine together,
That's what stars do.

inward and outward.
Look ahead, and maybe

you're seeking.

Mantoufi
Ibrahim Mantoufi is a Beirut-based multidisciplinary artist and Creative Director who combines his expertise in the marketing and advertising fields with his distinct approach to visual storytelling. Having worked across regional and local clients in various domains, Ibrahim draws on an extensive design repertoire and a formal education, holding a BA from the Lebanese University and an MA from the Design from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. It is defined by its ability to transform technical skill into atmospheric experiences.
